As a licensed mental health counselor, I take a holistic approach when working with clients. I provide counseling services to adults, teens, families, and couples that are dealing with an array of mental health disorders, either at my counseling office or the individual’s home.
I believe the best results happen when my clients are invested in their therapy. As such, I collaborate with my clients to determine what they hope to achieve while in therapy. Together the client and I (and family when appropriate) work on goals and objectives. Based on client choice we determine the most appropriate treatment methods and interventions.
Turning Point Mental Health Counseling is a designated provider of HCBS services. HCBS is Recovery-Oriented and based on the belief that everyone has the ability to recover from mental illness and/or substance use disorders. HCBS supports the achievement of living and social skills and are offered where you feel most comfortable, whether your home or community. HCBS encourages hope and inspires each individual to achieve their own Turning Point toward recovery.
Along with Therapy, Turning Point also provides Family Support and Training, Cognitive Rehabilitation, and Skills Training. These services are offered in collaboration with your Health Home Care Manager.
